Fijian winger Peniasi Dakuwaqa stunned the rugby world with a breathtaking solo try during Stade Francais’ 27-11 victory over Racing 92.
Dubbed the ‘try of the decade’ by many, Dakuwaqa’s effort is already being celebrated as one of the greatest individual tries ever witnessed in the sport.
Starting from his own try line, Dakuwaqa collected a kick, dodging defenders with a swift move behind his goal before executing a perfect left-footed chip inside his own 22.
The ball’s favorable bounce was just the beginning, as Dakuwaqa showed his speed and strength, brushing aside multiple defenders, including navigating past an injured player on the field, to score a try that will be remembered in rugby history.
