The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s have arrived early in Queensland to prepare for the Super W grand finale against Waratahs.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Mosese Rauluni, the team arrived early to ensure ample time for rest and preparation.
“The early travel was planned so that the girls can be well-rested and settled in before the match,”
“We’ve had some good contact sessions, and the excitement of the girls is quite visible. It’s the most important match of our season—the grand final.”
The support from fans has been overwhelming, particularly during their semi final match in Suva, and Raulini is hopeful for strong support in Brisbane.
He called on the fans in Brisbane and back home to rally behind the team during the grand final.
“The fans here for the grand final, the girls need all the support they can get, especially when the Drua is going against a team like Waratahs,” he stated.
Also, Adding to the excitement, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is also expected to attend the grand final on Sunday to support the Fijian Drua Women.
