FRU ready to work with new government

Fiji Rugby Chairman Commodore Humphrey Tawake said the Union was ready to work with the new government in building the nation’s number one sport.

Tawake told FijiLive that the newly elected government remained a strong pillar of support of Fiji Rugby.

“They are a partner of Fiji Rugby and are also a partner of the Fijian Drua,” Tawake said.

“I know they are currently doing a number of rounds pertaining to national matters.

“However, we will brief the new government when the time is right.”
