The 39-year-old man who was earlier reported missing in Labasa is believed to have drowned after his body was recovered from the Qawa River yesterday.
In a statement, police said the victim was reported missing at the Labasa Police Station on Monday afternoon.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to confirm the victim’s cause of death.
