Urgent search for missing children

Fiji Police is urgently seeking public assistance in locating two children reported missing in separate incidents.

10-year-old Mele Maka was reported missing at Nakasi Police Station after she failed to return home from school yesterday.

Despite search efforts by her family and relatives, there has been no success in locating her.

In a separate case, 14-year-old Sidney Ilaise Tupou Vakalahi was reported missing at the Navua Police Station.

Sidney, who was residing with a relative in Rovadrau, was last seen on April 21, 2024. Family members have conducted searches but have not been able to find him.

Authorities are calling on anyone with information about the whereabouts of either Mele Maka or Sidney Ilaise Tupou Vakalahi to contact Crime Stoppers at 919 or the Eastern Division Command Center at 9905563 for Mele, and the Southern Division Command Center at 9905529 for Sidney.
