People’s Alliance grabs early lead

The People’s Alliance is leading in the first set of provisional results released by the Fijian Elections Office tonight.

The Sitiveni Rabuka led party has so far received 2,600 votes (52.87%) while the FijiFirst Party has received 1,020 votes (20.74%).

The National Federation Party has received 6679 votes(13.56%) while Social Democratic Liberal Party has received 311 votes (6.32%).

Unity Fiji has received 112 votes (2.28%), Fiji Labour Party has 81 votes (1.65%), New Generation Party has 72 votes (1.46%), We Unite Fiji Party has 40 votes (0.81%), All Peoples Party has 15 votes (0.31%) while the two independent candidates have zero votes.
