Samoa bounces back in U17 championship

Samoa bounced back in the OFC U17 Championship and thumped Tonga 6-0 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva on Sunday.

After losing 3-0 to host Fiji on Thursday, the Samoans ensured they put on a better show in their second Group A match.

Captain Pharrell Trainor was the star of the side, netting four goals in the encounter.

Samoa and Fiji both have 3 points in Group A and Fiji will meet Tonga on Wednesday.
