Several roads closed due to flooding

Several roads in the Western and Northern Division are currently closed due to flooding caused by heavy rain.

The situation on road closures in the Western Division is as follows:

•Flood water start creeping in Rakiraki Town Bus Stand and Taxi Stand
•Rakiraki town Bridge water level rising at this hour
•Nadelei Road Tavua – Crossing No.2 flooded and closed for all traffic.
•TUBARUA CROSSING Sigatoka underwater
•Ailea Low Level Crossing, Naviqiri Rd, Navakasiga, Bua – Closed to Traffic
•Draiba crossing Sigatoka underwater close to all traffics
•Ciri Road – Pass Nalele Village Sigatoka Closed to all traffic.
•Nadroumai crossing 1 Sigatoka close to all traffic
•Nanokonoko rd crossing open to 4×4
•Vatukoula Industrial Road Tavua- Crossing No.1, inlet blocked with debris and water level rising. Currently open to all traffic.
•Masimasi Road Tavua – Crossing Flooded and closed for all traffic.

The situation on road closures in the Northern Division is as follows:

•Urata Low Level Crossing, Urata Rd, Bulileka, Labasa – Closed to Traffic
•Konasami Low Level Crossing, Bulileka Rd, Labasa – Closed to Traffic
•Nabita Low Level Crossing, Nasigasiga Rd, Dreketi Macuata – closed to Traffic
•Vunivere Low Level Crossing, Kawakawavesi Rd, Seaqaqa – closed to Traffic
•Nabilodra Low Level Crossing, Namuavoivoi Rd, Bua – Closed to Traffic
•Qawa Low Level Crossing, Boubale Rd, Bulileka, Labasa – Closed to Traffic
•Banikea Crossing, Banikea Kavula Rd, Lekutu, Bua – Closed to Traffic
