Rotuicove, Tabuyawa claim 800m Gold

Marist Brothers High School’s Abaramu Rotuicove and Naitasiri Secondary’s Rusila Tabuyawa clinched Gold in the Senior 800m finals of the 2024 Coca-Cola Games at the HFC Bank today.

Ratu Ilaitia Mataidradra of Nakasi High School and Samisoni Kaitu of Holy Cross secured silver and bronze respectively in the Boys division while Kuini Valebuliti of MGM and Seruwaui Kuru of Vatukaloko claimed silver and bronze in the Girls division.

The Intermediate Boys race was won by Qelevuki Talaqea of Korovuto College, with Leone Limavuna of Dudley High School and Orisi Bukasiga earning the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

In the Intermediate Girls division, Lilieta Buna of Thomas Baker won with gold, while Adi Ceva Lutumailagi and Adi Cakobau School took home silver and bronze.

Jale Raikatalau of Ratu Kadavulevu School led the Junior Boys category, with his schoolmate Amani Rakula taking silver and David Ryan securing bronze.

In the Junior Girls, Emi Ratumainabou of Naitasiri Secondary School won gold, with Risa Mole of Namosi Secondary and Amelia Naitoko of Nukuloa garnering silver and bronze respectively.

In the Sub-Junior Boys category, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School’s Josefa Nabuka won gold, while Isaiah Tuqiri of RKS and Soropepeli Nakasava of QVS took silver and bronze

Finally, in the Sub-Junior girls category, MGM’s Resina Rabaleira took home gold while Namosi Secondary’s Vilisite Tauluva took silver and Anna Camassei of ISS settled for bronze.
