A 13-year-old student is believed to be the country’s latest drowning victim.
The victim allegedly drowned whilst swimming in the Koronubu River in Ba yesterday afternoon.
According to Police, the victim from Vutuni in Ba, had gone swimming with her cousins and friends when the unfortunate incident occurred.
She was rushed to the Ba Aspen Hospital where she was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival.
