Winger Sivo axed by struggling Eels

Fiji Bati winger Maika Sivo has been left out of Parramatta’s side as the Eels head in a new direction in an attempt to turn their floundering season around.

Coach Brad Arthur has opted for a new-look halves partnership for the Eels’ Round 6 NRL clash with the Cowboys on Saturday.

Daejarn Asi comes into the side at five-eighth alongside makeshift halfback Dylan Brown.

Sivo was Parramatta’s sole try scorer in their 41-8 loss to Canberra but only managed 10 runs for 57 metres.
