A 39-year-old man is in Police custody following the death of his 38-year-old wife on Sunday.
The suspect is alleged to have seriously assaulted the victim in their home in Narewa, Nadi during a heated argument over as to why the victim had arrived home late.
A post mortem examination will be conducted to confirm the victim’s cause of death as investigation into the matter continues.
