We have to be consistent: Kumar

Baby Bula Boys coach Sunil Kumar says they have to maintain consistency in the OFC U17 Championship which is currently underway in Fiji.

Kumar said though they managed to win their opening match 3-0 over Samoa, they still have a lot of work to do ahead of their next encounter against Tonga.

“First match is always tough and my players played to the best of their abilities. It was their first international outing so the nerves were certainly there. We hope to do better and polish our game against Tonga.”

Kumar said he will look at making some changes to the team.

“We have 23 players in the squad and I want to give game time to all players before the elimination round. All players are equally capable and gifted.”

“The team spirit is high and the players are raring to go and give a good performance.”

Fiji will meet Tonga at 7pm on Wednesday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
