Cher calls off wedding plan amid concerns

Veteran singer Cher has decided to call off her wedding plans with Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards amid concerns from her family that the producer has set sights on her fortune.

Her family has warned the famous singer that Edwards has been using her in order advance his career and enjoy financial gains.

“For a while, Cher followed this guy around like a lovesick puppy, but the blinders seem to be coming off,” an insider told RadarOnline.com.

Meanwhile, another source told the aforementioned publication that “Cher’s starting to see Alexander in a different light.”

RadarOnline.com has also reported that Cher has not broken up with Edwards despite being caught on camera without the ring she was given by the producer.

“Cher has always been so careful about her money, but she was throwing it at this guy and funding his over-the-top lifestyle!” another source added.

Cher has reportedly been frustrated by Edwards’ behaviour, with an insider stressing that “AE’s always inviting his friends over for parties – and he goes missing and doesn’t answer his phone”.

Back in February, Cher discussed, on The Kelly Clarkson Show, her relationship with a man 40 years younger than her.

“Well, on paper it’s kind of ridiculous,” Cher admitted

“But in real life we get along great. He’s fabulous and I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.

“He’s very smart, he’s very talented and he’s really funny so – and I think he’s quite handsome.

“If I hadn’t met younger men in my life, I would have never had a date, because older men just didn’t like me all that much, do you know what I mean?’
