Pearls select Pac Games extended squad

Fiji Pearls Head Coach Unaisi Rokoura has named a 34-member extended squad to prepare for the upcoming Pacific Games.

The team consists of Fiji’s finest netballers from the Digicel Punjas National Championship and Fiji Secondary Schools Tournament.

Six players overseas based players also join the extended squad from England, Australia and New Zealand including Adi Vakaoca Bolakoro, Kelera Naiwai, Naviniya Sivo, Ana Moi, Shaid Salusalu and Nicole Kamotu.

The Pearls extended squad will go through team training and camp before the final team is selected to represent Fiji at the 2023 Pacific Games that will be held in the Solomon Islands in November.

Cook Islands claimed gold at the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa which Fiji did not send a team too.
