The Social Democratic Liberal Party is expected to make a decision today on who they will merge with to form Government.
Former Party Leader Viliame Gavoka has confirmed this to FijiLive as the countdown to the 2pm Management Board meeting continues.
It is understood that the FijiFirst Party and People’s Alliance leaders will front SODELPA’s Management Board and make final presentations before a decision is reached.
Following last Wednesday’s General Election, FijiFirst managed to secure 26 seats in Parliament, People’s Alliance got 21 seats, National Federation Party has 5 seats while SODELPA has 3 seats.
With FijiFirst and PA/NFP equal in terms of number of seats, both need to merge with SODELPA to form the next Government.
