Lack of focus and attitude disappoints Rauluni

Despite securing a spot in the Super W semifinals, Fijian Drua Women’s head coach Mosese Rauluni says he is disappointed with the performance of the team following their 34-21 loss to the Melbourne Rebels.

Rauluni criticized the team’s lack of focus and attitude in the crucial game.

“Very disappointing, we didn’t come with the right attitude and left a lot of things for next week, we told the girls to focus on this week rather than next week, we had put ourselves in a good position in the start but could not continue putting ourselves into their half.”

Rauluni also pointed to preventable mistakes that cost the team dearly.

“Because of some silly errors, we gave away the game to Melbourne,” he explained.

As the team prepares to face Western Force in the semifinal, they are looking to address these issues and improve their performance in hopes of advancing to the final and defending their title.
