Assistance will put Fijians at ease: Rabuka

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says the $200 Back to School assistance is a necessity at this time as people are still recovering from the effects of COVID-19 and some remain unemployed due to the pandemic.

“We all have suffered from the downturn of the economy, a lot of people have difficulty and will need help and the best time to assist them is the beginning of the New Year and school term.”

He said the assistance will put their minds at ease and concentrate more on the well being and welfare of their families, apart from focusing on the financial side of their families.
