One thousand four hundred and twenty staff of the Ministry of Education who were acting on both teaching and non-teaching administrative positions have been regularized.
Education Minister Viliame Gavoka said some of these officers have been acting in various positions, for over 20 years.
“We are pleased that through the Policy Direction of the Coalition Government, we are able to positively reward these loyal officers.”
He said there are some vacancies that were not filled and the team at the Education Ministry will commence with processes of advertising and recruitment will be undertaken presently.
