The Fiji men’s Netball team will play warm-up matches against the Fiji Pearls from the 27-30 March.
Netball Fiji chief executive Vivian Koster said the training matches are part of the Fiji Pearls preparation ahead of their campaign at the Netball World Cup in Cape Town.
“The main aim of the training matches is to challenge the Fiji Pearls team to another level of competition against our Men’s team.”
She explained that the Fiji Men’s team will be the perfect training partner for the Pearls.
“The Fiji Men’s team is the training partner for the Fiji Pearls, they have provided competition to the Pearls and have always played with great skill and knowledge.”
She added that Netball Fiji will be organising the Men’s Championship in May and plans are in place to invite some international men’s teams to the competition this year.
