Fijian duo retain NZ spot for Hamilton 7s

Fijian pair Akuila Rokolisoa and Amanaki Nicole have retained their spot in the New Zealand 7s team for the Hamilton 7s on home soil this weekend.

Following their strong performances in Dubai and Cape Town 7s last month, the All Blacks 7s Head Coach Clark Laidlaw has named the duo as this will be their final appearance on the HSBC World Sevens Series circuit at home.

Players unavailable for selection are Andrew Knewstubb, Kitiona Vai, Scott Curry, Tim Mikkelson, Tone Ng Shiu sustained injury while Tepaea Cook-Savage is sick.

New Zealand is drawn in Pool A with Tonga, Australia and Great Britain.

New Zealand plays their opening match against Tonga at 9.16am before meeting Australia at 1.06pm and with their final pool match against Great Britain at 6.35pm.
