First Gold for 14-yr-old Tuimanono

14-year-old Hephzipah Tuimanono relished her first ever gold medal in the 2023 Coca-Cola Games at the HFC Bank Stadium today.

The Suva Grammar School year nine student finished first in the Sub-Junior Girls 400 metre final clocking 61.44 seconds while she recorded a time of 62.24 in the Preliminary Round.

Pasemaca Bukalidi of Adi Cakobau School scooped the silver with recorded time of 63.15 seconds.

Elenoa Kafoa was handed the bronze after clocking 64.38 seconds.
