Former National Coach dies

Mohammed Ali Sahu Khan, a respected figure in Fijian football passed away at his home in Sydney, leaving the Fiji Football Association and the entire football community in mourning.

Khan, known for his roles as a former national, Suva, and Civic FC coach, and a player for Suva, had a significant impact on the sport.

He also served as Civic FC’s president in the 80s and took on civic duties as Suva’s deputy mayor in the 70s and 80s.

Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel, along with board members expressed deep sorrow over Khan’s passing acknowledging his supreme contribution to Fijian football.
