Former Opposition Member of Parliament and prominent businesswoman, Dr Mere Samisoni has passed away at the age of 85.
She was a member of the Social Democratic Liberal Party and founder of Hot Bread Kitchen.
Dr Samisoni had also served as mayor of Lami.
Her family is expected to release funeral details later today.
