Kamikamica reaffirms support for sector

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, SMEs and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica has reaffirmed the Ministry’s support to the telecommunications sector.

While meeting the board of directors, regional chief executive and the management team of Vodafone Fiji in Suva yesterday, Kamikamica said the coalition Government will support the telecommunications sector in every way possible to ensure Fijians benefit from better innovation and technological advancements.

The strategic priorities of Vodafone Fiji were discussed in relation to the Global Mobile Economy and the Global Mobile Trends.

Accompanying the Deputy Prime Minister was the Acting Permanent Secretary for Communications, Tupou’tuah Baravilala.
