Nadroga holds Labasa in DFPL

Solomon Islander Barrie Limoki netted a second half equaliser as Nadroga held Labasa to a 2-2 draw in Round 2 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka today.

After a 2-1 defeat to Navua last weekend, the Stallions put on a much improved display and matched the Babasiga Lions in all aspects of play.

Goals from Christopher Wasasala and Lekima Gonerau gave the visitors a 2-0 lead before Solomon Islands midfielder William Komasi pulled one back for Nadroga.

The hosts applied more pressure in the second half and missed tons of chances while Labasa also attacked through set-pieces.

Wave of attacks on goal saw Limoki snatching the leveler for Nadroga’s first point of the season.
