Taxi driver charged by Mpaisa Taskforce

The Fiji Police Force Mpaisa Taskforce has arrested and charged a 32 year old taxi driver of Lot 10 Simplex Lane, Lautoka on one count of Obtaining Financial Advantage.

On 27th October 2023, the accused pretended to be a staff of a supermarket in Lautoka selling groceries from the bulk through phone and obtained $700.00 from members of the public.

He will be produced in the Magistrates Court in Lautoka today.
