TD05F re-entered Fiji’s area of responsibility at 3am this morning and is expected to intensify into a tropical cyclone in the next 12-18 hours.
It is located to the west of Vanuatu and is moving east at a speed of 8 knots.
The Nadi Weather Office in its latest bulletin said three systems were analysed in Fiji’s area of responsibility.
TD08F was named a category one tropical cyclone OSAI (992hpa) at midnight (071200z) and is currently located to the west of Southern Cooks and is moving south-southeast at 15 knots.
Category One Tropical cyclone NAT (995hpa) is located to the west of French Polynesia and is moving east at 4 knots.
TC NAT is expected to weaken to a low pressure within the next 12 hours.
