Vanuatu to host OFC Champions League

Vanuatu will host the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League in May this year.

It will be the first time a full tournament will take place in Vanuatu, a decade after local side Amicale competed in the final against current champions Auckland City FC.

The top two club teams in their national league from affiliates under the OFC umbrella will battle out in February to cement their spot in the OFC Champions League.

In Fiji, Digicel Premier League winners Rewa and runners-up Suva will face each other in a two-legged competition to decide the winner that will represent Fiji this year.

Last year, Rewa defeated Lautoka in a home and away match and represented Fiji at the OFC Champions League in New Zealand.
