We are working towards progress – Sherman

The Digicel Fiji National Football Team under the guidance of Head Coach Rob Sherman is riding high on a wave of positivity and commitment ahead of their first leg face-off against Solomon Islands.

Having spent three fruitful weeks in camp, Sherman shared insights into the team’s preparation and mindset ahead of the highly anticipated International Friendly matches.

“We’ve been camping for three weeks, it’s been very positive, and we’re making progress. Everyone is committed, and we’re really looking forward to the opportunity to play against Solomon Islands, hoping for a competitive game,”

“The boys have trained extremely hard. The mood and culture are positive, so we’re in a good space, and we’re looking forward to performing,” he added.

As the team sets its sights on the upcoming season, Sherman revealed plans to seek international games, aiming to continue the team’s developmental trajectory.

“We will be seeking overseas games this season as the year progresses. We’re making progress, and that’s what we’re working towards,” he concluded.
