Rev Vunisuwai questioned and released

Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho has confirmed that Methodist Church of Fiji President, Reverend Ili Vunisuwai was taken in for questioning at the Valelevu Police Station last night.

Brigadier Qiliho also confirmed that after questioning, Reverend Vunisuwai was released on the same night.

The President of the Methodist church was taken in for questioning at the Valelevu Police Station for the letter he had sent on behalf of the church and its members to the President of Fiji.

In the letter, Reverend Vunisuwai highlighted their concerns about the counting of votes and the inconsistency of the electronic results management system.

Meanwhile, FijiLive is trying to get confirmation from Police if any charges have been laid on We Unite Fiji Party Deputy Leader Dr Jone Hawea and candidate Abel Camillo.
