Heavy rain warning in place for next few days

A heavy rain warning remains in force for the Northern Division, Yasawa, Lau and the Lomaiviti Groups, the Northern and Eastern Parts of Viti Levu (Tavua, Rakiraki, Tailevu, Navua, Suva, Nausori, interior Ba, Rakiraki, Naitasiri, Serua and Namosi).

The Nadi Weather Office in its latest bulletin said a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain is expected to affect parts of the Fiji Group for the next few days.

Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over the Northern Division, Yasawa, Lau, and the Lomaiviti Groups, Northern and Eastern Parts of Viti Levu.

Localised heavy rain falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood prone areas.
