Fiji Kulas head coach Angeline Chua has instilled a never-say-die attitude in her team, constantly reminding them that “the most difficult player is one that never gives up.”
Recognising the strength of the New Zealand team, Chua and her team have analyzed their opponent and developed targeted strategies for the match.
Following a reflective session on their loss to Solomon Islands in the third pool match, Chua emphasizes the value of learning from past games.
The team’s prime focus is on improvement and applying these lessons against New Zealand.
“We’ve looked closely at how New Zealand plays and have prepared our tactics to match them,” she said.
“We come up strong against New Zealand, taking all we’ve learned from the Solomon’s game into our match.”
With determination and preparation, the Fiji Kulas aim to put their best foot forward in today’s second semi-final against the Kiwis at 4pm (Fiji Time).
