A 2-year-old boy was found floating in a creek at Naqaidamu Village in Koro yesterday morning.
Police are treating the incident as a case of alleged drowning.
The victim was rushed to the Koro Health Centre where attempts to revive him proved futile.
Parents and guardians are again being reminded of the importance of supervision and an element of child negligence will be considered during investigation.
