Ba to face Lautoka without key players

Ba will be missing crucial players Malakai Rere, Mohammad Raheem, Sailasa Ratu, and Mitieli Naiviro in their upcoming match against Lautoka this Sunday

With these key players sidelined, the team acknowledges the heightened challenge they face.

“Our key players are out, it’ll be a challenge for us to rise up to the occasion considering Lautoka is one of the best teams in the country and they are on a high following their win over Nadi,” said Ba Football Interim President Azam Ali.

Despite the daunting task, there’s a silver lining as this situation opens the door for younger players.

“So, it’s a big ask for us but we will keep preparing and give opportunities to our young boys to prove themselves,” he added.

Currently standing at 6th place with 7 points, the Men in Black will face off against defending champions Lautoka this Sunday at 1 pm at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba.
