Health Ministry’s cashless public notice recalled

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has recalled the public notice by the Ministry of Health that it no longer accepted payments made with cash or cheques.

The Prime Minister in a Facebook post said there were no consultations done with regards to this decision and it has been withdrawn.

Over the weekend, the Ministry of Health posted that they will no longer accept payments made with cash or cheques from Monday 3 June.
