Chua aims to improve game decision-making

After a commanding 10-0 win against American Samoa, Digicel Fiji Kulas head Coach Angeline Chua pointed out areas for improvement, particularly in finishing and decision-making on the field.

Chua observed the contrast between the youthful players’ pace and the seasoned players’ composure, especially in goal-critical situations.

“The youth players really keep on the pace of the game, and then we really need the finishing where the older players come in with experience, like they are calm enough,”

“The aim of the tournament is to get better at every game we play. So, we have to be better at every game we play,” she said.

The team’s focus is on refining their gameplay, with an emphasis on leveraging the experience of older players to enhance precision in front of the goal.

The Kulas are set to resume training on Friday in preparation for their upcoming match against Papua New Guinea on Saturday at 2pm.
