Fijian Drua hooker Tevita Ikanivere and halfback Peni Matawalu are set to equal Isoa Nasilasila’s record of most Drua appearances, with 29 appearances this weekend.
Ikanivere has been named in the starting team to face the Waratahs in Lautoka on Saturday while Matawalu has been named in the reserves.
Nasilasila, who is out injured had played in 29 consecutive matches for the Drua and also featured in all of Fiji’s matches at the Rugby World Cup in France last year.
Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua vs Waratahs match will kick off at 1.05pm at Churchill Park while the Drua Women will come up against Waratahs Women at 3.35pm.
