Nasau earns Player of the Match in opener

Fiji Kulas midfielder Cema Nasau was awarded player of the match in the OFC Women’s Olympic Qualifiers after her outstanding performance contributed to their 10-0 victory over American Samoa today.

The 24 year old Ba striker, secured a hat-trick while playing a crucial role in Fiji’s attacking side.

She scored her first goal just before halftime, helping Fiji to a 5-0 lead at the break.

Nasau continued her stellar performance in the second half, adding two more goals to complete her hat-trick.

Alongside Nasau, former captain Sofie Diyalowai also impressed with a hat-trick within the opening 15 minutes.

The opening victory sets a strong pace for the Fiji Kulas in their campaign for the Olympic Qualifiers.
