Bainimarama leads results by candidate

FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama has taken a strong lead in results by candidate for the 2022 General Election.

Bainimarama leads with 11,248 votes (22.39 per cent of votes accounted so far) following the final release of 470 of the 2071 polling stations by the Fijian Elections Office at 5 pm today.

People’s Alliance leader Sitiveni Rabuka is following closely with 6,738 votes (13.41 per cent of votes accounted).

People’s Alliance deputy leader Lynda Tabuya is third with 1,397 votes (2.78 per cent).

Meanwhile, the People’s Alliance maintains its lead in the result tally with the party securing 21,810 votes (43.41 per cent of votes accounted so far) while FijiFirst is still second with 16,515 votes (32.87 per cent).

Social Democratic Liberal Party has 3684 votes, National Federation Party has 3256 votes, Unity Fiji has 1688 votes, Fiji Labour Party has 1269 votes, We Unite Fiji Party has 1179 votes,  All Peoples Party has 614 votes, New Generation Party has 175 while Independent candidate Rajendra Sharma has 26 votes and Ravinesh Reddy has 21 votes.
