Nothing to worry, stay calm: Rabuka

The People’s Alliance Party leader Sitiveni Rabuka has told his party and supporters nothing to worry about and to stay calm.

“So nothing to worry about. Stay calm.”

“They may call.”

This is after Rabuka and party general secretary Sakiasi Ditoka were taken in for questioning by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) headquarters at Suva Street last night.

After their release from the CID, Rabuka in his address to the party and the supporters said they want a clear explanation from the Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem on the glitch that occurred on Wednesday night after the Election.

“Just come back from the CID headquarters. They wanted to know the intention of our letter. The party letter to the Supervisor of Elections. They pointed out that any complaints should be directed to the Electoral Commission, but complaints to the Electoral Commission, that revenue is open after the election.”

“We are not happy with this Government. What we tried to do this time is get an explanation of the glitch and when that was not coming, we wrote to inform him.”

“So it’s very important that we maintain calm within the party. Our supporters are told to stay calm. Our Facebook could be taken as having another intention. The intention was to tell the SOE that we were not happy to open up the information to us.”
