Britney Spears’ memoir tops best-seller list

Britney Spears’ highly anticipated memoir is already a best-seller — while her sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ book is being sold at dollar stores.

Less than 24 hours after the “Gimme More” singer, 41, announced “The Woman in Me” will hit shelves on Oct. 24, the book has skyrocketed to the top of Amazon’s best-seller list with a price tag of $32.99.

Meanwhile, bargain hunters have been sharing videos and photos of 32-year-old Jamie Lynn’s “Things I Should Have Said” on display at different Dollar Tree locations for just a buck and a quarter.

Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, revealed today that Britney’s bombshell tell-all “illuminates the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story” on her own terms.

After the publishing house unveiled the information, the famed pop star revealed on Instagram that she has had “a lot of therapy” to help prepare her for the project.
