Fiji Pearls named for Netball World Cup

Fiji Pearls head coach Unaisi Rokoura has named her 15-member squad for the 2023 Netball World Cup which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 28 July to 6 August.

Rokoura named the squad following the completion of the Quad Training matches against the Fiji men’s netball team and the Invitational team from New Zealand over the week.

Former Suva Grammar School students Elina Drikibau, Ledua Waqa and Josephine Tabua have again cemented their spot in the team.

Rokoura has also named the three non-travelling players in the team.

Fiji Pearls: Lydia Panapasa, Unaisi Kubunameca, Maliana Rusivakula, Jimaima Kete, Maria Rusivakula, Anaseini Nauqe, Elina Drikibau, Ana Moi, Kalesi Tawake, Josephine Tabua, Vakaoca Bulakoro, Kelera Nawai.

Non- travelling reserves: Reama Verekauta, Avelina Navue, Naviniya Sivo.
