Pearls book NWC training matches

The Fiji Pearls have locked in quality opposition for build-up games before this year’s Netball World Cup.

Three teams in Scotland, Malawi and the Silver Ferns are on the Pearls radar ahead of the tournament start next month.

Netball Fiji Chief Executive Vivian Koster said they were eyeing a proper date to hold their training matches.

“Hopefully we will have our first training match around July 24th,” Koster said.

The Netball World Cup begins on July 28.

The Fiji team departs on July 20th for South Africa.
