In a historic jersey presentation ceremony in Hong Kong last night, every player in the Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s 7s team was given the honor to present the tournament kit to a fellow teammate.
This was the first time for players to do the honor as previously former players, coaches, special guests and dignitaries were invited to present jerseys to the players.
Coach Osea Kolinisau led the proceedings by presenting his former teammate and current captain Vatemo Ravouvou his tournament jumper.
Fiji opens its campaign at the So Kon Po Stadium against Michael Hooper’s Australia at 9.30pm today.
