Several roads closed due to flooding

Several roads around the country are closed due to flooding caused by continuous rain overnight.

Roads closed in the Central Division

▪️Rewa Bridge- restricted movement, only accessible to large vehicles.
▪️Wainadoi Old Queens Road, Navua
▪️Waiyanitu Road in Navua
▪️Nasasa Road in Navua
▪️Viwawa Road in Navua
▪️Nakaulevu Road in Navua
▪️Wairua Road, Korovou
▪️Nakorovou Village Road, Korovou

Roads closed in Western Division

▪️Eratoko Road,Ba. Bridge – closed to all traffic.
▪️Koroboya Rd, Ba. Both Crossings – closed to all traffic.
▪️Dramasi Road, Tavua. 1st Xing underwater.
▪️Qalela Road, Tavua. 1st Crossing underwater, closed to traffic
▪️Lubulubu Rd, Tavua. 1st Crossing underwater
▪️Matacawa Road, Tavua. 1st Crossing underwater
▪️Yaladro Road, Tavua. Flat underwater closed to traffic
▪️Mataniwai Road, Tavua. Flat Underwater – closed to traffic
▪️Toge Rd, Ba Crossing underwater. Closed to traffic.
▪️Varadoli Road, Ba. Crossing – Closed to all Traffic
▪️Varadoli Cemetery Road, Ba. Crossing – Closed to all Traffic
▪️Marinitawa Road, Ba. 1st Crossing underwater. Closed to traffic
▪️Maururu Road, Ba. Culvert crossing Underwater and closed to traffic.

Roads closed in Northern Division

▪️Banikea Crossing, Kavula Road, Lekutu, Bua – underwater and closed to traffic
▪️Daria Crossing, Nabouwalu Road, Wainunu, Bua – Approach washout and closed to traffic
▪️Kawakawavesi low level Crossing, Kawakawavesi Road, Seaqaqa – underwater and closed to traffic
▪️Korolevu cross culvert, Korolevu Road, Seaqaqa, surface flooding – accessible to 4×4 Only.
▪️Lalakoro low level Crossing, Lalakoro Road, Seaqaqa – underwater and closed to traffic
▪️Naqumu low level Crossing, Naqumu Road, Seaqaqa – underwater and closed to traffic
▪️Toberua cross culvert, Toberua Road, Seaqaqa – underwater and closed to traffic
▪️Zailav low level Crossing, Zailav Road, Seaqaqa – underwater and closed to traffic.

Members of the public are advised to please refrain from crossing flooded roadways.
