Double Olympic gold medalist and former World 7s Player of the Year, Jerry Tuwai is set to make his return under newly appointed coach Osea Kolinisau.
Fiji Rugby Board of Trustees chair, Peter Mazey confirmed in a media conference today that Kolinisau is keen to have Tuwai back in the team and give him a chance to scoop his third Olympic gold.
He said Tuwai is also eager to return and is training very hard for a comeback.
Mazey said Tuwai is determined to prove his worth to the national selectors and is preparing for the upcoming Marist 7s.
Tuwai played alongside Kolinisau in 2016 to win Fiji’s first ever Olympic gold medal in Rio, Brazil under the watchful eyes of Ben Ryan.
