Fiji is set to take on the formidable All Blacks in a test match scheduled for July 20th at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.
Fiji Rugby’s High-Performance Unit Manager Barrie Jon Mather conveyed the team’s anticipation for the match, “It’s a fantastic opportunity for us. We would love to play in Suva and have the Fijian crowd behind us but I think we’ll take San Diego, I think there’s a good population there, I know we will be well supported,”
“To be exposed in a competition like that is invaluable to us. It’s a really hard test, hopefully we come up with a win, if we don’t, we’ll build onto the next game,” he said.
The event promises to be a high-stakes encounter as Fiji seeks to solidify its standing on the global rugby stage against New Zealand’s iconic team.
