PM Rabuka conveys condolences to Modi

Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sitiveni Rabuka has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi on the passing away of his mother.

In a condolence letter, Rabuka said: “It is with profound sadness that I convey my deepest sympathies for the passing of your mother, Shrimati Heeraben Modi”.

“The thoughts and prayers of all the people of Fiji are with you and your family during this difficult time as we remember her life and dedicated service to uplifting the social and economic status of all women and families.

“May her soul rest in peace and her legacy be an inspiration to all of us,” Rabuka said.
