Blues skipper to miss Ba clash

Champions Lautoka will face Ba in Round 6 of the Digicel Fiji Premier Leagu on Sunday without Captain Sitiveni Cavulagi.

The national team midfielder is nursing an injury and needs more time to recover.

Lautoka FA President Shalendra Prasad says the absence of their Captain together with Aporosa Yada and Sairusi Nalaubu will be the only setback for the team.

“Sitiveni Cavuilagi is out with an injury, Aporasa Yada’s eligibility issues are still unresolved with Fiji FA, and Sairusi Nalaubu is suspended due to a previous double yellow card,” Prasad explained.

Despite the challenge, Lautoka is focused on delivering a strong performance against Ba with the boys preparing accordingly with the rest of the players.

The match is scheduled for 1 pm at the Fiji FA Academy in Namosau.
